Give me the names of people you love most and why?

Rashad and Amina Darshan, my parents. That seems like a fairly obvious answer, but my parents allowed me to be who I am today. My dad taught me to be who I am and make no apologies for it, and my mom helped me learn who I am and who I come from. Those are both invaluable lessons that I'm incredibly grateful for.

@SheriffNorthman, though I wonder if love is the right word. Sometimes, I think so, though I don't think this is the right time to admit it, to myself or anyone else. I trust him with my life, and quite possibly with my heart. He is one of the strongest, most honorable men I know, alive or dead. Aside from family, he's the one person who has made the most impact in my life, and not just by working for him. He's... really something else.

@FunSizeLT, because she's helping me relearn what it is to be a friend. That's a valuable lesson, and one I'd forgotten. It's not easy, but she makes it worthwhile.

@ClaudeCrane, because he's as big a bitch as I am. Yes, he judges me for my decisions, but if I want honesty and someone I can speak my mind unconditionally around, I don't have to look any further than him.

@BiancaNorthman, though it's definitely not love. It's... something. She's the one vampire other than Eric whose blood I've had, and I think that makes me pretty protective over her. It's a weird feeling. I know if it came down to her or me, she'd choose herself, but I think short of that, I could count on her to protect me.

Ares, cause before him, I didn't really have anyone to take care of. It's hard to be selfish around a puppy.

Ask me anything!
